Birthdays in February? Before this post, I hadn't realized before that I knew quite a bunch of people whose birthday is this month.
Just to name a few, my "compadre" (the father of one of my goddaughters) just had his birthday 2 weeks ago, and also his older son has a birthday coming soon. My favorite neighbor just celebrated this weekend. Have another friend with a bday coming up. She used to work with me. Even my younger sister in law, and the girl who do my nails from time to time. And another friend from my hometown... and also my ex-neighbor and friend, whose birthday is TODAY!
So this is a good opportunity to say Happy Birthday to everybody!!!
But today I'm showing the card I made for my friend Liana. I won't see her today, but I don't mind if she sees the card beforehand... Hopefully I'll see her next weekend.
For the card, I embossed vellum with a Darice embossing folder featuring wine glasses... Love it.
And then, I embossed the same image in red cardstock just to cut the portion representing the wine and assembled in design paper behind the vellum.
The stamp is from Latina Crafter. And the banner was also from a Darice embossing folder, from which I cut a portion and added letter stickers with my friend's name.
