Journal Cover

Hi there.
I covered my journal with distress inks, sprays, tapes and of course stamping.

Original color is kraft and blue but I covered it for a more darker look and stamped with the wine theme.

The stack of bottles is heat embossed for an interesting look.

Love this sentiment about the bad wine... it's so true!

In the back I also added some glasses of wine as signature at the end.

I will link this up to the Unity hop today.  Leave a comment for a chance to win.

Sweet Baby's First Year

A friend's baby just turned one recently.  How sweet!

I couldn't be in the celebration but have a little present to give and an excuse to see her.

I made this card for the occasion.  The birthday theme was about jungle animals, so guess what I made the card of.

Animal stamps are from Autumn Leaves, and the beautiful candle in the center is from Unity Stamp Company.

I love this card base covered with burlap.   This is one of those things you can do yourself but having the opportunity to getting them done saves you a lot of time.

I used some distress paint for the background and painted the images with watercolor pencils and markers.  Note also how I stamped on colored cardstock to use the color on my favor and just colored minimal details. :)

My friend hasn't seen the card but I'm sure she reads my blog... and follow me on facebook.  So... Soni... we have to get together so I can give you the little present for Adrián. :)

Masculine Birthday Card

Hello my friends.  I've been very busy lately but always find a little bit of time for the hobby.

Made this card for a friend co-worker at the office.  Tried to make a masculine card without leaving out the festive look of the birthday theme and the personality of the recipient.

I cut out the balloons and used dimensional adhesive to make them pop, plus added the cord to simulate they were tied together.

Hope you like it.  I will link this to Addicted to Stamps Challenge #161 Anything Goes, and with Incy Wincy Designs "One for the Boyz" challenge.

Have a great weekend.

For the Coffee Lover...

My dear friends...

Here's a card inspired by the Unity Be Inspired Challenge currently on.

I used an embossed card base and added different papers and cardstock with the colors of the challenge, to frame the image in the center, which is a stamp from Unity Stamp Co.

Also added a punched corrugated black carton to which I inserted a big eyelet.

I love the final result.  Simple, CAS style, and beautiful.  Very cool for a coffee lover special someone.

Hope you like it.  I also plan to link this in next Tuesday Unity Hop, so join the party and leave a message for a chance to win.

75 Años

Hola a tod@s!

Beautiful Shades!

Hello Friends.
Here's a card I made to share in two challenges.

First one is the new Unity Tuesday Hop.  They used to have the Friday Friends with Flair and I participated a lot.  Now the special day is Tuesday and we get to link after the DT members, so we can all share.  There's prizes for one entry and for a commenter.  It's very fun!

I also want to share this card with current Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge blog.  Love the inspiration image called "Shades".

For the card I used a kraft base and put together some patterned paper strips using dimensional adhesives here and there... along with the stamped wood pattern, the glasses and the sentiment.  I also added some sprayed paint for some unique imperfection.  Finally three enamel dots as a cute embellishment.

Hope you like it.  Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win with Unity.

Happy Tuesday!
