We all need a little HOHOHO

In my last post I showed you one of the Christmas ATC's shared with my swap group...

Here's the second one.  For this one I stamped image and sentiment, and heat embossed.   I then applied Glossy Accents in the borders and used some glitter for a festive touch.  Love this sentiment...

Here's the pair of ATC's my friends received this month.  Hope you like them.

"Joy" ATC - and... Merry Christmas!

Joy... is what I wish for all of you.

Happy Holidays!!!

Hope you are having a great Christmas Day.

I recently made my two monthly ATCs for a swap stamping group.  These two ATC's I make for 7 to 10 people are actually making me take some time for the hobby even when I don't have too much time... so it's good.  Plus, getting other people's creations help us share inspiration and art.

For this ATC I used distressed ink in different colors on the base and applied some water for blending.  I then stamped the image of the tree and heat embossed, then did the same with title.

I used some "Stickles" drops for a final touch.

There's is a lot of imperfection in the process of making several projects of same design.  But I really like that each one of the creations is unique.

Merry Xmas!

LCSC #89 - Latina Crafter Sketch Challenge...

Espero les haya gustado y no olviden visitar Latina Crafter.

Turtle Love

I like turtles.  Did you know that?  I just think they are strong, have a long life and have patience.  They are not as slow as some people think they are... they can bite you very quickly if you are not careful and can run away from you if you are not looking.

I actually have a pet one, called Mingui. :)

I made these ATC's for a swap group and the optional theme was animals.  So I decided to use these "old" stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

For the base I used Kraft cardstock.  I stamped the heart and sentiment first, and then embossed through the Cuttlebug machine.

I stamped the two turtles in different patterned papers and fussy cut both to assemble as shown.

At this date, my friends should have received these turtles with love... :)

Give Thanks... Every day!!!

Everyday... give thanks...

There's always a reason or ten, to be thankful everyday.  Focus on the positive and all the blessings you have received in your life.

Did you eat today?  Do you have a place you can call home and come back everyday after work?  Do you have a job?  Do you have someone to care about and someone that cares about you?
You are blessed.

Don't complain about having a bad hair day or because things sometimes don't go the way you'd wanted.  It's called life.

It's difficult to be always positive and happy because we are human beings and we have feelings...  But you can try doing your best and you'll see the difference in life.

Happy Thanksgiving!

(ATC's called "Give Thanks"; made for a swap Unity Stamps ATC group.  Hope you like them.)

Be thankful.

Butterfly ATC

Hi!
Yes, I am here again.
This is another one of the ATC’s I recently made for my swap friends.

We had an inspirational optional theme of butterflies so I decided to use this stamp I hadn’t used before.

Hope you like it.

Imperfect Awesomeness

Beautiful day everybody!
I’ve been very silent lately… just a matter of priority with family and work…  But I’m alive!  Actually, I am particularly very happy today because I’m on vacation mode!
Just stopped by to share one of the ATC’s I recently made for my swap friends.

I intentionally used just a little and subtle water coloring in the image to emphasize on some elements… but not the whole image.  It is about been awesome within the imperfection.
Hope you like them.

Unicorn Card

A friend asked me for a card for her girl's birthday... but she wanted it to have a unicorn... !!!!  Oh my God!  I don't have unicorn stamps!!!!

... But I have this beautiful image from Unity Stamp Co and I drawed the horn. :)   I think I made it a beautiful unicorn! :)

I colored the image with watercolor pencils and some help from Wink of Stella.

The Spanish sentiments are from Latina Crafter, and the name letters are from Inkadinkado.

I hope the girl liked the card... Hope you like it too. :)

Emoji Birthday

I made this CAS card for a special coworker... a great man, great human being... friendly, nice, humorous and great friend.

For the card I used multiple stamps with sentiments to convey the birthday message.

I added emojis using spellbinders dies.... Love them!

Hope he had and emoji birthday! :)

Age and Glasses of Wine...

A wine lover friend is celebrating her birthday this month.  She will celebrate the whole month!!!
One of the celebrations was last night.. so I made her this card.

The image was stamped in textured paper and colored with subtle watercolors.

A special background patterned paper was used... with names of different grapes varieties. :)

Stamps are from Unity Stamp Co.
Hope you like my card.

Beautiful Seahorses...

This birthday card was made "at special request".   A coworker wanted a sea horse themed card for another coworker.

I used patterned paper for the background... and used several stamps to give life to this card.  The seahorses and seastars are stamps from previous editions of Craft Stamper Magazine.

I stamped the images and painted with watercolors.  I also stamped a "wooden" background in cream cardstock and stamped a spanish sentiment to create the sign.

The oval in the background frame was colored with Prima Marketing Color Bloom Sprays.

I hope the coworker likes it... and hope you like it too.

August ATCs - part 2

So... this is the second August ATC I made for my group.  I love wine... you know it... and I love wine stamps too.  will never have enough.  I think I should have wine related dies but that's something I still don't have.  My birthday is in October in case you want to send me a gift...LOL. just kidding... but I really like this ATC.

I made the background using distress ink and a dauber.

I separately stamped the sentiment in a patterned cardstock and embossed with silver powder and heat.  Also stamped the bottles in ivory cardstock and trim cut.

A pair of sequins helps with a finishing touch.

I will share these on the current challenge of Facebook Unity Show and Tell. :)

How do you drink your wine?  With a joyful heart!

August ATC's

Here's the first one of two ATC's I make every month for a SWAP group, using Unity Stamp Co stamps.

I love this one for which I used Prima Color Blooms sprays to create the background.  I also inked the edges with color box wine merlot shade.

I stamped the image and used black embossing powder and heat to stand it out.  Each little heart in the hands is a different color, since we should love one another no matter our differences in any area of our lives.

My friends should have received these already... and I started to receive mine too.  I will share with current Unity Show and Tell challenge about ATCs... :). Who knows?  Maybe I win some stamp candy... send me good vibes.  Have a great rest of the weekend.

I {heart} cards

A group of coworkers asked for a card to give a friend that recently had a heart situation.  They wanted a card showing a real heart conveying a message about strength and courage... in Spanish.

So I don't have a stamp showing a "scientific" heart... and I recurred to a clipart.

I used Spanish stamps from Latina Crafter.  The message in English is:  You are strong, courageous... you are simple special.

In the interior I stamped the Happy Birthday phrase and also used an additional stamp from Unity Stamp Co which shows the beat of the heart.

I made another card more CAS and I am also sharing today.  Also combined stamps from both companies.  the image of the heart and rays is from Unity, and the Spanish phrase from Latina Crafter.

Hope you like my cards.

July ATCs - Second Part

Hi.  Hope you are having a great weekend.  I want to share the second ATC I made for July swap with my mail friends.

For this one, I used a patterned paper as base.

The message to convey is about beauty.  We all are beautiful in a way, but it's also true we don't see ourselves as beautiful as others do.

So, it's no coincidence I stamped the sentiment in vellum because it's about transparency.  I'm being honest with this sentiment.

And also no coincidence I stamped the image in white and didn't apply any color.  Beauty is relative so I didn't want to apply any embelishment or color to "beautify" the image.

Hope you liked it.  Here's the snapshot with the two ATCs I made this month.  To see details on the first one, go to my previous post.

Thank you.
