I'm telling you... it's contagious!

Be careful.  It's contagious.  I can't help thinking of Friday Friends with Flair and share some Unity artwork.
I am very sleepy, know that I have to go to sleep because today's a long day of work... but I couldn't avoid creating something to post for the FWF.
Well...  it's fun anyway, I shouldn't complain.

You should do what you love and do it often.  Most of the time, we, humans, concentrate our actions in what we are supposed to do... forgetting about what we love.  I am grateful I found scrapbooking as a way to create and express my imperfection.  It came to my life to stay.

So I was writing the post for the morning but realized the Unity FWF message was just posted... so, let's make the link...

When I first saw these stamps I was petrified.  Because I used to be told this when I was a child... that the wind is God touching us.  And whenever I feel the wind (specially on my face because I don't like when it is behind my head and all my hair goes directly to my face, LOL!), I feel so close to nature that is nice... and if you live in a tropical island, wind is good!

So I used patterned paper as base; distressed and inked the edges...  stamped the sentiment directly on it, and also the image of the girl as guide...  Because I stamped her again in cream cardstock and cut to paper piece.  Same thing I did with red cardstock for the dress.

I painted the grass with watercolor pencils.

I cut the hair so I could have the stamped lines in the base paper, and also more lines from the cream cardstock.  I painted it with watercolor pencils and finished with glossy accents and some glitter.  In the photo, the glossy accents is still wet... sorry for that!  Remember I needed to go to sleep.

I hope you like my card as much as I enjoyed making it.

Have a happy Friday, after a Thursday which was really a Monday, and a Wednesday, which was really a Sunday, and a Tuesday that was a Friday...  This is what a middle of the week Holiday and a contagious Friday make you say...    (I really read this from a friend in facebook who writes these silly funny phrases... and I adopted it).

Enough talk... write me your comment.  Have a great weekend.
