Another Travel Journal Page - Friends with Flair

And Friday it is... Yessiree!  It's the first full Friday after a Summer hour program.  Glad to be normal again though.  And there's a lot of work, so thank God.  Unemployment and weak economy are being the topics in my Puerto Rico lately.  Not to mention the drought.  We've been praising for rainfall for a while.  So, with lots of things happening, one hast to focus on the little things and the love, the "live life fully" thing you know.

This is another page of the travel journal I pretend to use soon on my upcoming vacations.  I've shown you some pages already.  This one was also completed with simple steps and using scrap material.

This flower was stamped, colored and cut a while ago.  I remember I was going to use it in a card I had in mind, but then I didn't like the coloring because I started adding some pink to the already applied blue, and I didn't like the result.  So I had it in my pile of scrap papers and little things to trash.

But...  this page already had this "Yessiree" expression with similar colors to the flower.  I just stamped with distress inks the background stamp and with black memento the sentiment, attached the already cut flower and then I have another journal page.  I like it.  Do you?

I am sharing 3 posts in Friday Friends with Flair at Unity Stamp Co today, so make sure to leave comments in all of them for a chance to win with them.  Unity chooses two winners, one is an entry project, and another one is a commenter on the participants' blogs.  I've had the honor to provide about 2 or 3 winners commenters from my blog during the last couple of years and it feels awesome.

Have a great weekend.
