Christmas is not over yet!

Hello everybody...

I don't know if you know about Puerto Rico's long Christmas' celebration.  You see, we still have one Holiday to celebrate which is called Three Kings' Day ...  It is going to be next Monday, the 6th.  Children will grab grass and put it in boxes for the 3 Wise Men's camels who will visit the houses the night before.   In the morning, the grass will no longer be in the boxes and instead they will get presents.   It is very similar to Santa Claus tradition but it is more cultural of our country and more tied to Jesus' story.   But this is not all...  After the 3KD, we will celebrate the "octavitas" which mean that we have 8 more days of "grace" to continue celebrating.  And then we'll celebrate the "San Sebastián Street" festival in mid January.  It is said that our Christmas lasts until then...

Bottom line... we are still celebrating.  So you will see lots of more Xmas projects in this blog for a while.  LOL!  Like this one.

This is a countdown calendar I made for my god daughter.  I used Karen Foster's and dressed it up with lots of patterned paper, washi tape, buttons. stickers, stamps, brads, corks, flowers, chipboard, ribbons, and eyelets...

Each drawer had messages and surprises for the girl to find out every day.

Tks for stopping by...  Let's keep the party going!!!
