I had these layouts pending to finish from Christmas. Just developed some photos so I finished them and want to share with you... even if it's already March... ok?
Nice things about this layout, besides the meaning is that the banner was hand made. I cut the triangles the way I wanted, stamped the letters and joined to each other with eyelets.
Also, the glitter balls in the Xmas tree were originally part of an event invitation. It was a little card in a box accompanied with these foam balls to support Xmas spirit. So, I cut them in half and used them in my tree.
I glued them with Aleene's Tacky Glue and gave some dimension to the cardstock tree.
My journaling is handwritten right above the dotted line so it seems part of the design for those who don't look closer.
That same collection I also used for this next layout.
There's one of the patterned papers that already has the phrase Merry Christmas and I thought it was ok to use it as title for an even simpler layout... and for taking advantage of it. So I cut just a thin border around so I can place it in a red cardstock and have the red border to frame the page.
I also cut a strip from other paper and used it at the bottom. To mat my beautiful niece photo I cut a shape from Accent Essentials cartridge in my Cricut Expression.
I also circle punched some designs from one of the paper, inked the edges, and added Glossy Accents in the middle... Some of them were glued with 3D Squares to create dimension.

A little tag with a Xmas tree was used for journaling.
The Poinsettia is a stamped image. I stamped several of these a while ago when I was in a crop and a friend (Mildred) let me use the stamp. I also stamped some leaves in green (from Autumn Leaves brand stamp) and placed them first, then the flower, and then other leaves from TAC, for the top.
A little tag with a Xmas tree was used for journaling.
I hope you like the final result.

And I hope you enjoyed this post... even if it is about Christmas... what an imperfect World.
