More Cards...

Hello... It's Friday... woo hooo!!!! My favorite day...it is...

Today I want to share some other cards I've made lately...

This one was for a friend who resigned recently and went to work somewhere else... I wanted a colorful card (like his personality) but without complications or too much embellishment...

So I stamped this little heart and painted with color pencils to make it look like it was draw.

It hast the letters of his name and I finished it with some Glossy Accents (love this tool)... The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.

And this card was an additional card I made for a friend's wedding... Used "Pearl" collection from AC Specialty Paper and also other patterned paper from other brand. The wedding flowers sticker is from EK Success (Jolee's Boutique).

And this other card was also for a baby...

The lion is a stamp from Autumn Leaves. I painted the face with Copics, but the rest with color pencils... Sorry... I only have Copics color for the face...hahahaha... but it's a way to practice... I love the difference created anyway because even though in the photo is not really appreciated, the image looks nice because the face calls the attention. I also used Glossy Accents in the nose so it stands out from the lion's cute face.

And here's the whole card:

I hope you liked my cards... Keep visiting me... Keep in touch... :)

Hello you Kitty...

Hello you!

A friend asked me for some Hello Kitty cards for a 1st. year of his niece. He wanted several cards to provide for some members of the family to bring to the bday party.

He told one card would be on behalf of an aunt, another one from him, and another from the grandparents, and the great grandparents... etc...

So I created different looks...
This one... I wanted to simulate an old fashioned look by maintaining the kitty modern look, thinking that maybe the great grandparents would like it. Therefore, the use of the dollie, and vintage ribbon.

This other card is a more modern one, but I made a cake the main attraction, and created a border with the repeated kitty face.

Then, here's the opposite... it's the kitty face the big element, and then the sentiment and an improvised banner with flowers.

I made two more cards... Will share with you in my next post.

Thank for your comments and your friendship...

Some Cards... and an important REMINDER

Hey... It's still Summer! Are you enjoying it? Having fun in the sun?

I have to admit that even living in the tropics, I do not enjoy sun that much... Too hot for me. But I know it's not "normal". Don't have to tell me.

Anyway, Summer's a good season to enjoy outdoor activities, and especially with kids, or pets, or family... Most people are on vacation (not me :(... ). It's also a great time for scrapbooking yeah!

I've been very busy at work and that includes working on weekends... so that leaves me with little little tiny little time to do other things, including going to the beach or Scrapbooking.

What I do is that even if it is cutting a little paper and position it for an idea, or just pass near my SB room and enter to glue something, move the elements, write an idea.... I just do... and when I don't expect it, I have a card almost finished, or an idea just developed and ready to implement. That's the only reason I can keep doing scrapbooking and most people ask me how do I find time to do it...

Here are some cards I made. I hope you like them...

But before that... remember we have a giveaway running. It's so simple to participate and even though you might have a lot of scrapbooking materials, a little candy doesn't hurt. Give yourself the opportunity. You can see details at the bottom of this post.

This K&Co sticker is great to have the sentiment for a card already done. When you are in a hurry, and don't want to stamp, type, write or cut letters, stickers help a lot.

I cut the hearts shape with Cricut from the Paper Pups cartridge. The patterned paper is a scrap paper I received from a make and take.

This sticker is also from K&Co. Isn't it cute?

The card is very simple... A punched border, a sticker and a bow, over a patterned paper.

This other card was made with different pieces of paper of different sizes. You can make your own design of patterned paper with different shapes. In this case I used squares and rectangles all over the card base.

Hope you liked them. Your comments are always appreciated. They make my day!

Don't forget:

Hi There!

Hi there everybody!

Hope you are having a great weekend.

Just wanted to stop by and remind you about the giveaway. It's going to be fun and will be more prizes than just the sneak peek I showed you. Click HERE to participate.

Also wanted to share a quick pretty card I made with scraps. Yes! Just strips of papers I had from other projects. I always keep pieces of papers I do not use because every inch counts... LOL!

So I used some of the strips to emboss flowers with my Cuttlebug machine.... see?

And aligned three of them for the center of attention of the card, then embelished... and that's it!

I hope you like my card.

Don forget the giveaway... click HERE.

More Love...

And there is always more love to give... and more understanding... and more patience... time... and care... When you think you have given it all... or that you don't have anything else to do, to think about, to care about... to come up with, more to be... There is always more. You are never done my friend. There is always more... there's always a bright side... Look for it.

But that was just a thought... Today, there are more cards. Some are cards I made before but have never posted, and some are recently designed... but they are all about LOVE...

Maybe you find one you like, or get inspired, or simply think it's too simple, too colorful, or not your style... It's ok... This is the chance to be imperfect... Just look at them and leave a comment. I appreciate them all.

Maybe you like this card with simple letters for the word LOVE with different paper scraps for backgrounds....

Or maybe this cutie with a gem...

These are details from a bunch of cards... maybe you can get inspired by looking at the colors and textures...

What about this? Do you want some glossy finish for your little heart? (sorry... big heart)...

It's a bunch of hearts!!!! Yeah!
Does this phrase remind you of someone? You + me = happy... Yes? Go make a card for that someone right now...
Aren't these buttons too cute? Love the different textures and patterns...

Here's the whole card.... Beeeeeautiful or not?

Here's a oldie... I made it a while ago... A more romantic look.. .but still full of heart.

Playful... Different pieces of papers...

And this one divided in four parts for a simple layout.

Hope you found these inspirational or useful somehow... Thanks for looking at my cards.... I HEART you for that...
