Hope you had a wonderful holiday. In Puerto Rico we were still celebrating Three Wise Men day this weekend. And will continue looking for excuses to celebrate all month long. That's us. It's a party all year! LOL.
I got inspired by current Unity Show & Tell color challenge to make a special card. I want this card to bring some comfort and love to a special girl who is going through a tough situation. I love to make projects that somehow provide messages through symbols or that can be personalized so the person who receives them can get related to them.
Red is her favorite color so I hope the tones of it in this card will make her happy.
Sentiment stamped in vellum is very important since we really mean for her to be proud of who she is and be strong for what is coming. Message says: "Keep your head up & your heart strong". So powerful! It is in vellum to show transparency. And is on purpose attached with eyelets... made of metal to symbolize strength.
Image of the girl is perfect. She should just show relief and let her be. Be free and get rid of anything bothering her. The distressed paper shows that she might be broken sometimes but still strong.
I placed some sequins and hearts specially in the upper left corner as she were breathing them... symbolizing she should always have in mind that family love will always be there for her to breath in and allow her to shine.
A piece of doily painted in red to show some feminine touch... something she should embrace and don't lose...no matter what.
I hope you like my card. I will share with Unity Show & Tell group in Facebook, and will also share with current Take It Make It challenge in Craft Stamper Magazine blog. An "anything goes theme" is happening right now here:
Bye.
