Hello. Happy Sunday.
I was inspired by this fabulous mood board from Mixed Media Place blog. It has so many elements to be inspired with. Colors, objects, words, emotions and more...
I want to also share this project with Take it and Make it Challenge from Craft Stamper magazine blog.
I chose to make a tag inspired by the ocean and the colors and the happiness emotions and good wishes.
I started with a clean tag to which I sprayed some color. I planed to have some blue in some areas and some pink in others to then later be able to emphasize some elements I had in mind.
So I used some modeling paste and glitter to add some texture to specific areas.
I stamped the lighthouse over pink background and stamped some seagulls nearby. These I also covered with glossy accents and glitter.
At the bottom, where the sea is, besides the modeling paste I used some glitter and wink of Stella to create even more texture.
Sentiment was stamped in blue to stand out and I used some sequins and thread for finishing touches. I even added some white wink of Stella to the sequins to make them look frosted.
Here's another view of the whole tag.
Hope you like it. I will be sharing a project with Mixed Media place blog for the first time. And will also share with Take it and Make it from Craft Stamper magazine.
Links to both challenges are shared at the end of this post.
