Today's last day of the year... Hope 2011 has been wonderful for you... And of course, you probably had bitter sweet experiences... such is life.
Let's look at 2012 as an opportunity to redeem all the things we regret if any... and continue doing what we've done well and has brought us happiness (and to others)... and try harder to do new things, experience life at a different level, check on the bucket list and declare This Is THE year to do it...
And then... today let me share a card... because this blog is about scrapbooking... you know? hahahahaha...
Remember my niece's 16 birthday? And the invitations made for the disco party?
Well... I haven't shared the card I made for her...
It's not about disco party theme... I wanted to make it as sweet as she is... girly, delicate, fragile, like a princess...
So I used these papers and elements from The Girls Paperie, combined with other elements from the Glitz Designs... all materials I have left from some classes during last Summer...
I embossed with flowers the patterned paper I used as background... And used a chipboard frame to show a "sweet 16" charm.
Punched a circle and placed pink cardstock in the border with an Accent Essentials cricut cartridge shape. Through the hole, a beautiful button is revealed. Inside is the opening of a little envelope in which we included our gift.
Used letters stickers from Glitz and placed in triangles with inked edges simulating a banner when placed on a ribbon.
Hope you likes my card and has inspired you in some way.
Take care.
